Videography is very important when planning your Destination Wedding.
There are a few things that should be considered when choosing a video company, such as
Digital video equipment, wireless sound, and music.
DVD
There are several types of DVDs and DVD players out there and they are
not all alike. Some of the different types are DVD+R, DVD-R, and Glass
Mastered. Although there are many differences, the biggest of which is Glass
Mastered (the ONLY TYPE that WILL play in any DVD player).
DVD-R is the most widely used however they will only play in a
Compatible DVD player. For a list of compatible players contact your
videographer.
Music
When choosing your music consider the tempo of your video and share this with your
videographer as this will make your video much better. The tempo and mood of the video are
set by the music. Although you are in the spotlight, it is the music that will set
the mood.
Choosing Your Videographer
You should discuss all aspects of your video with your videographer, remember
there are no dumb questions. It is better to ask than be surprised later.
You should be able to contact your videographer easily. We offer
a Toll-Free number (1-877-686-3686) in which to be contacted and welcome any questions. Always try to view
a videographers work prior to hiring be it via the internet or a demo. Take into
consideration that editing has been done. This will be a good way to view
a videographers style.
Video Equipment
Digital is the only way. As in all things there are many different levels of camera. One
simple way to judge the quality is the size of the chips in the camera. There are
1/3,1/2,and 2/3 inch available, all of which will do a fine job. HD is
also available however these cameras show every imperfection in the
skin. Remember, there are
no dumb questions!
Video Locations
Lighting is the main concern for your video when choosing a location. Because
video cameras do not have a flash, lighting is very important. You should avoid shooting
directly at the sun.
Wireless Sound
The sound should always be wireless as this is the only way. CAMERA MICROPHONES CANNOT BE
HEARD.
These are just some of the things that can make your video great. Please call, email,
or write to discuss further.
